BERRIA: rebirth of the Basque pelota temple

Built in 1929, the Trinquet Berria has seen countless and exciting friendly pelota matches, but also the most important finals of the official championships.

For lack of standards, the trinquet had not hosted official parties for ten years.

Attached to this place, Jean-Marc Charritton, president of Lauak, acquired it to revive this flagship of the Basque Country.

With a capacity of 800 people, the trinquet has thus retained its fine steel frame, its wooden guardrails, while a glass wall opens up the field of vision of the spectators seated on the stands.

On the ground floor, a silver zinc bar and a dining room with open kitchen offers modern cuisine made with local products, respecting the seasons.
