By Law 24.09 relating to the safety of products and services, the Kingdom of Morocco has established a certification and marking procedure Cم (C accompanied by م MIM in Arabic).
It concerns electrical equipment operating at a voltage between 50 and 1,000 volts for alternating voltages, 75 and 1,500 volts for direct voltages.
VIM has implemented this certification and marking for part of its range intended to be exported to Morocco.
You will find below the list of certified products as well as the necessary documents (certificates of conformity / technical notices in Arabic) for the regulatory conformity of the products and the export procedure.
Taking marking into account begins as soon as the commercial offer is established. It involves compliance with a very strict inspection and documentation procedure carried out in collaboration with Bureau Véritas. It also results in a cost and obligations for the importer and exporter.
Concerning orders coming directly from Moroccan customers, marking and compliance with the procedure certification will be automatic.
On the other hand, French customers or other countries must clearly stipulate, upon requesting prices, the destination final of the material.
Failure to comply with procedures may result in equipment being blocked in customs.
