Description
- Air temperature up to 60 ° C.
- Relative humidity up to 70%.
- Recommended by EN 13779 to obtain high or medium indoor air quality (INT 1 or 2) with fresh air with a very high concentration of gaseous pollutants and / or particles (ANF 3).
- Corrosion-resistant PVC casing, components resistant to chemical agents. No metal parts.
- Independent pre-filter protecting the activated carbon filter, increasing efficiency and duration.
- High efficiency activated carbons, selected for laboratory fumes.
- 2 types of activated carbon filters according to EN 14387:
- class A and AX approved standard plate,
- Class E approved standard RBAA plate.
- Filtration on activated carbon: adsorption (physical phenomenon by which a solid attracts molecules to its surface under the action of Van Der Waals forces). The polluting molecules “attach” to the surface of the activated carbon. Activation of the carbon allows the formation of micro pores increasing its total exchange surface, up to more than 2,000 m2 per gram of activated carbon.
- Pressure drop varying very little over the life of the activated carbon filter.
- Temperature and humidity decrease the adsorption capacity of carbon. A low temperature promotes efficiency, the filter supports 70% relative humidity to the maximum. Dust interferes with the proper functioning of the activated carbon filter, the pre-filter must be monitored.
