Sigfox defines a standardized way of collecting data from sensors and objects with a single, standardized set of application programming interfaces (APIs).
Sigfox uses 192 KHz of the unlicensed ISM band to exchange messages over the air. The emission technique is what is called the ultra-narrow band (UNB - Ultra Narrow Band). The band used in Europe (ETSI nomes) is between 868 and 868.2 MHz. This frequency band allows only small messages: 12 bytes per upstream message (Uplink) and 8 bytes per downlink message (Down Link). In France, nearly 1,500 branches provide 94% coverage of the French population. |
In order for the data to be recovered, each product must be individually identified (ID-PAC) on the Sigfox Backend servers https://backend.sigfox.com
Beforehand it is necessary to have taken out a subscription directly on the site https://buy.sigfox.com or directly from Sigfox. celine.gaboreau@sigfox.com; louis-marie.gimbert@sigfox.com
You can then declare the products on the Sigfox backend and receive the data frames sent by the product.
