Sigfox ID and PAC numbers of VIM
More information : sav@vim.fr
|
A product (object / device) has a unique identifier called ID. It is linked to another unique number called PAC (Porting Authorization Code). The ID-PAC pair is mandatory for registering or transferring an object to the Sigfox backend.
The PAC proves the ownership of a device (title deed). Only the end owner of the device should know it.
- As soon as the device is registered or transferred, the PAC changes (one-time code).
- Once declared, it cannot be attributed to another person.
- Anyone with a PAC can register a device that you own.
Please do not post, print or engrave it on or near the product. It is imperative that you are authorized by the owner of the installation to be the declarant of the product.
