Application
Automatic system for managing the extraction and introduction of air in professional kitchens.
Allows the ventilation flow rates to be controlled by comfort and hygiene parameters (temperature and relative humidity) for ideal air quality.
Allows to reduce air flow rates, motor power consumption and energy consumption related to air heating. (Energy savings from 40 to 70% according to on-site studies carried out by EDF).
Improves staff comfort and therefore productivity, by limiting exposure time to noise and air currents which are sometimes significant at high speed.

VORAX® ECO Tri - Cooking example
The VORAX system® ECO consists of controlling 1 or 2 three-phase 1-speed motors via a frequency converter, using relative humidity probes positioned on the front of the hoods and one or two temperature probes placed in the kitchen. The flow rate varies linearly as a function of the temperature evolution as long as the humidity is below the set threshold. When the humidity exceeds the setpoint, the system gives it priority and goes to maximum speed.

VORAX® ECO Mono - Example Laundromat
The VORAX system® ECO LAVERIE consists in controlling 1 or 2 single-phase motors at variable speed by a voltage variator, from data transmitted by a relative humidity probe positioned on the front of the hood. The variation of the flow rate is made linearly according to the evolution of the hygrometry.

- Compact IP55 box positioned in the kitchen combining the functions required by the user: Stop / Automatic start / Minimum or maximum flow priority / Smoke extraction safety remote control.
- SHUR electronic humidity probe IP65:
- 1 to 12 probes to be positioned on the hood / ceiling, near appliances with high clearance.
- Adjustable from the CTCF box (management of 1 or 2 zones)
- Adjustment range from 30 to 90% relative humidity.
- Dimensions: Width. 165 x Ht 80 x D 42 mm.
- STEM IP65 electronic temperature probe:
- 1 or 2 probes to be positioned in the environment
- Adjustable from the CTCF box
- Adjustment range from 15 to 35 ° C

- CTCF Box for centralization and processing of IP55 information:
- To be placed in the technical room.
- Logic module with backlit display for viewing measurements and modifying the setpoint values of the probes.
- Transmits information to the frequency converter.
- Gas solenoid valve info report - contact open when the box is safe.
- Battery heating authorization and post-ventilation management in the case of an electric heater.
- The box allows the electrical supply of external devices (probes + control boxes) in very low voltage 24V.
- Preheating mode on time slot - allows the operation of the blower fan and the heating coil in preheating mode without operation of the extraction (night preheating - frost protection, etc.).
- Communicating Modbus TCP / IP as standard.
- VFTM / VFIK Frequency converter:
- Adjusts the operating point of the fans according to the information received from the CTCF, within the defined operating range (min - max).
- CAPI Preheating mode management box:
- In the case of preheating on a time slot controlled by the CTCF box, the CAPI box forces the extraction fan to stop for a faster heating of the room. Can only be used if two frequency converters are used. In the case of an ASR system, stopping the extraction during the pre-heating periods is not possible.
